Several seconds to start when warm

Several seconds to start when warm

I have an '02 f150 V6 4.2 that takes several seconds to start after stopping for about an hour or so. When cold it starts right up. I tried to turn the key on for several seconds and then hit the starter, but it takes the same amount of time. So I'm not sure that the check valve is the problem. Any ideas?

That has happened to me a few times both in my '99 and my '07. Kind of freaked me out in my 07 because I never expected... and I said, "I remember that!" after liek 5 minutes... I got worked up over nothing, haha.

Yea, no sweat man... I think its gotta do something with the heat in the combustin chamvbre...

Mine does that sometimes too. It usually starts right up once I hit the starter. Sometimes if I run into a store real quick, like 10 or 20 mins, then it won't start right away, or it will almost choke before it starts sometimes too. It doesn't do it too often though.
