Are V 6's OK after 1/15/98
I'm looking at a couple manual 5 sp V6 F 150's.
One is a 98 mfg 2/98
The other is a 2000
Is there any thing that shows up as a consistent problem with either of these years like the lower intake gasket/hydrolock problem that is supposed to only be on F150's made before 1/15/98.
Anything is particular to watch out for?

Yeah, I've been talking to some engine builders lately 
And alot of them seem to say go with 2000 or newer...I haven't asked why...because I'm stuck with this 98 for now...but if I had to buy one....I'd would go 2000 or newer...
