Mileage

Hey, what do you guys get for mileage? My sticker said 16/21 and I've only bought gas twice, but so far I'm only getting about 13.5 (no mods yet). Most of my driving is around town, and usually short trips at that. I only live 4 miles from work.

13.5 is not unreasonable with only short trips, especially if you are running the AC. It's not getting a chance to fully warm up.

Worst I've seen with mine is 12.8, best 23.2. My only mods are a muffler and a K&N dropin, I have a soft tonneau cover and a bug deflector for what that's worth, and I use synthetic oil.

During the workweek, I get about 13.5, too, because work is less than 2 miles from home, and I run the AC. But when I am making an extended trip, I usually get around 18-19 if I am travelling how I normally do, or 22-23 if I drive like granny (And turn off the AC and keep windows up--ie: wintertime). Once you get on the open road, the advantages of the V6 REALLY show. That, plus if you have a V6, you can have a 5 speed!!!

5 speed, AmsOil, K&N, and... (I dunno)...Waxed paint?
