are mustang 3.8, and 4.2 parts interchangeable? specifically ignition parts, like coil packs,plug wires etc. i see alot more parts for the 3.8

 

I believe the coil packs are the same but the wires are different lengths becuase the coil back mounts in a different location. The wires may work or may not. 3.8 has different intake manifolds and of course crankshaft and pistons... Heads are the same if it is a 99+ 3.8... thats all I can think of for now
