Hey guys, my Check Engine Light came on and was diagnosed as the EGR Feedback sensor being bad. I picked one up on the way back to work today. It looks pretty simple to replace but is there anything I should know prior to swapping it out?

 

Check the 2 hoses to make sure they don't have anything in them, white residue.

 

I could get the thing unplugged, but not pulled up out of the hoses. I ran down to the local garage and the guy put a long screwdriver underneath the sensor and pulled up on both ends of the screwdriver. It took a little bit but he got it out. We did have to unhook the battery for about 10-15 mins to reset everything because the Service Engine Soon light was still on after replacing the sensor. That seemed to do the trick.
