Check engine light

I have an 2002 F150, 4.2 and I keep getting the trouble codes for lean burn bank 1&2. I've changed the fuel filter, O2 sensores, checked for vacume leaks, etc... and keep getting these codes. I'm starting to get frustrated. Any ideas where else to look as I'm out of ideas.

I'll back 04' Heritage. Try this to see if it is the intake gasket: spray a little carb cleaner in the oil fill spout with the engine running. If the engine smooths out even a little thats the leak.

Hey I'm not sure if I am approaching this post thing correctly but I noticed we are having identical problems. I have a MAC complete air intake, supechip, and Dynomax muffler on my 2002 F-150 V6. I was wondering if anyone has any ideas on what to check for. I heard that both Banks Sensors most likely will not go bad at the same time and that most likely I have an airleak. Any ideas? Thanks, John

John, you may be having problems related to your air intake. Check threads on CAI.

I had the same issue on my 02. I re-seated my O2 sensors (which I had just replaced) and cleaned my MAF sensor. Been thru 2 full tanks of gas so far and the CEL has not come back on. (Knock on wood).
