Stupid Emissions

Just wondering if Anyone knew about exhuast censors for modified exhuast systems. if theres anyway to work around them? or take them off completley? this is on a 87 300 efi.

you mean the 02 sensor?? its a 87 so thats fuel injected. it wont run without it.t exactly are you wanting to do??trying to pass a emission test??

well no i want to buy headers... maybe.. or just true duel it.. and want to take the catylitic off. But if theres no way to take the censor right out or override it i guess the catilytic stays??

Theres dummy sensors out there that fool the computer to thinking it has cats.

ya that dummy censor sounds like what i will go with? do you know where they sell them? on the net? or in stores.. hard to find that kind of stuff in Canada..
