Need some HELP

Hello eneryone, I just got my first "Service Engine Soon". So I pluged in the AutoXray hand held and it gave me a (P0171 & P0174). I know it is a
"System Adaptive Fule too lean (Bank1)"
"System Adaptive Fule too lean (Bank2)"
what does this mean?
what can I do to fix this problem?.............Cheers Barneyman

Start by looking for vacuum leaks.

I agree

Had the same problem with mine about a year ago. Pulled the 02 sensors and they just did not look that bad. I could hear some sucking sounds from center of engine. I sprayed carb cleaner a few times but could not find it. Finally found center part of motor under throttle body, had dime size hole in short tube. Kinda hard to get too. But that fixed mine. Good luck.

I just had a ses light on and i found out that it was my right side bank o2 sensors. Its making the truck run lean right now. just my .02
