Cat. converter failure after 6,000 Miles?

Cat. converter failure after 6,000 Miles?

Ford is going to replace it for free, but i still think it is odd for it to fail so quickly.. anyone else have this problem

sounds like you might be under the failing injector problem (TSB), where it runs rich, and clogs up the cats.

both my cats rattle at the slightest increase in throttle from idle. It's annoying as hell and sounds like a cheap truck. I took out my rear cats, might have to replace the front two now. I get great gas mileage for running rich if that is the problem.
