96 Inline 6 Surging

My truck when you take off surges a little bit then it will take off. Then sometimes it does have the power it normally does. I am thinking my fuel pump is going bad. I have changed Plugs, Wires, Cap, Rotor Button, Fuel Filter, Air Filter, the works. What do you think?

An alternator getting ready to go out can cause surging. Wouldn't be a bad idea to have it tested. Also, a bad 02 sensor can cause it too. The fuel pump can cause surging, but I'd try the first two first since they're the least expensive.

Good luck.

Edit, I saw you have a carb, so I deleted all the MAF cleaning, and TPS advice I typed.
