Not going to go into a full blown thread, but yes, its possible to go from this:

The engine bolts directly to the tranny... After that, its a good amount of work.
I used motor mounts from a 96 F150, and then made brackets welded to the frame to bolt the mounts to.
I used headers for a Fox Mustang, and modified my exhaust to fit. That took alot of work. It would be easier to build a new system than to make the old one work, even though they arent that much different. Either way, it still took me all day Saturday to do it, and I could have built one in 3/4 the time.
Wiring, thats a subject in itself, since my truck is an automatic and as you know, the ECU controls the tranny.
