Yes, its possible!

Not going to go into a full blown thread, but yes, its possible to go from this:

The engine bolts directly to the tranny... After that, its a good amount of work.

I used motor mounts from a 96 F150, and then made brackets welded to the frame to bolt the mounts to.
I used headers for a Fox Mustang, and modified my exhaust to fit. That took alot of work. It would be easier to build a new system than to make the old one work, even though they arent that much different. Either way, it still took me all day Saturday to do it, and I could have built one in 3/4 the time.
Wiring, thats a subject in itself, since my truck is an automatic and as you know, the ECU controls the tranny.

Nice, why the swap? Was there a problem with the 6 or just for a performance upgrade?

That's awesome dude! I've heard people talk about how the 5.0L or the 5.8L? would bolt right up but never actually heard of anyone acutally doing it. Nice work

How much power are you going to be getting out of that set up, if you can do that then I can put a 4.6L V-8 inand with a 5 speed it should be a bit easyer
Hows it drive.
