truck running too lean
truck running too lean
My service engine light came on a while ago on my 02 f150. I got the code checked at autozone and its the p0174 code saying that the truck is too lean on bank 2. Which is one of the sides of the cylinders. Any ideas what it could be?
Driver's side.
"Lean" codes are usually due to vacuum leaks. If your engine has a vacuum leak on one side only, you would only get a single lean code.
it would be beneficial to have a proper scan and to see what the short and long term fuel trims are at and what the freeze frame date was.
DO NOT let the bozos at AutoZone attempt to diagnose it for you. They, most likely, would sell you a repacement O2 sensor which would be a waste of money.
