96 v6 dies 5min after running daily

96 f150 dies 5min after running every day. wait 5min and it starts(getting harder daily) than runs fine all day. dash volt reads + before and - after. have replaced alt, volt reg, batt cables, and fuel pump and filter. No codes at mecanic and no engine service light until it stalls. Any help?

Sounds to me like your starter needs to be draw tested,or solenoid is sticking and routing the juice to the starter till it overheats and trips a circuit breaker.

Not the starter

well its not the starter. I forgot to mention that it cranks after it dies but wont fire. Spent some time on it this morning and noticed that after it dies if i leave the inition on that I can hear the fuel pump running than stops than runs, stops than runns. I crawled under it and saw a loose tube that looks like a breather tub that was attached to the frame above the rear end and higher than the gas tank. I cant find where its supposed to go but it looks like it may have come fron the top of the fuel tank. had the fuel pump replaced a year ago with and after market fuel pump. The factory pump was twice as exspensive. Please respond with any help or comments.
