Startin problems

Well heres my problem guys, bout a week ago i had a problem w my truck not startin. I thought it might be the starter bc it was makin that noise. Took it off and got it tested, nope thats not it its all good. Turned the flywheel and it cranked right up. My truck worked for bout a week or so. Now when i turn the key it seems like theres power loss somewhere. The domelight fades in and out. The beepin it does gets softer and louder. Sometimes when i try to turn the key i get a knocking sound from right behing the fuse box. I thought there might be a problem there but i dont know. I tested the cables runnin from the battery to the starter and its gettin the power. So i dont know if its a fuse or wire behind the fuse panel, fuse in the engine compartment somewhere or what. Whatever tips yall got would be great.

The power supply wire going to the starter has a tendancy to corrode at the starter connection and eventually get to the point where it fails.Sometimes you can just wiggle it and it just falls off.
