I know there are a ton of posts to this but I really wanted to ask one more time. From what I understand is that the intake gasket on these trucks fail on the back side of the block. I have 108,000 miles on my 1998 so does that mean I'm about to have this problem? If so exactly how hard would it be to just do that gasket yourself? Has anyone on here actually done the work themselves? If so any special tools needed?
