just bought an F150 w/4.2 v/6 and would like to know the location of the pcv.....I believe it's on the drivers side cover, right?

I wouldn't clean it. Autozone has them for 5 bucks. Once you get the sucker off, be careful and pay attention to how you took it off. Took me 30 minutes to figure out how I took it off. After you go through that you'll wish you just went ahead and bought a new one in the first place.

 

While you're at it,replace the rubber grommet that holds the pcv valve.Also,any rubber vacuum lines going to or from the valve.

 

Is there a picture of the location? I could not find it. I bought one the other day but can not see where it goes.

 

Look on the passengers side valve cover, all the way back towards the firewall. There it is.
