Oil Pressure Issues
I got the oil sending unit replaced and drove the truck. The same problem is there. After it warms up the oil pressure will fluctuate when slowing and drop to nothing when sitting in gear at an idle. A guy I talked to at the dealership said that it may be some sludge on the screen inside the oil pan on the "lifting hose" (or something like that). I didn't know if it could be the oil pump. I don't think it is because it doesn't start knocking when the pressure drops so I assume it's still getting oil.
If your "oil pick-up screen" is clogged, the only way to get to it is to pull the engine. You cant pull the oil pan with the engine in the truck. The oil pump is located up front,so that can be removed in the truck. You know, you might have a bearing issue. When the bearings go bad your oil pressure drops.
Same problem had to rebuild bad mains

I can put my truck in neutral, accelerate or rev the engine and it will go back to normal. I don't have any major oil leaks but I'm clueless on what it could be. I'm not sure if it's a sensor OR if it's something that could be major.
Any ideas...
