hello.. i jus got a 81 f100 inline 6 4 spd and i was wondering if anyone knows the specs on it hp/tq and city and highway mileage, and good/bad comments about them... it seems like a dog going up, anything i can do to make it pull a little better.. i have a all forged 351w settin in the garage but i dont wanna put it in cuz it'll kill me on gas the way prices are..

I don't recall the specs for the 300 in a carbed form, but it can be made into a real monster for power. www.fordsix.com will fix you up in that end. Milage can be from 10 to 20.

i am trying to find out what the mesurements on the bearings for a 1981 300 stright 6 4.9l i have to rebuild the one i got and dont have a owners manul because it is in a woods buggy..I need the factory info for it

 

Is this 4 speed the one with the low low 1st gear? Some people call it the granny gear.

 

the motor we got had a granny gear in it and if anyone cal please help me i would be greatly appcieated..
