I have a 1990 ford f150 4x4 with a 4.9l v6 it ran when i drove it home but after i shut it off and tried starting it again everything would cut out even the inside light thatr comes on when you open the door. I replaced the solenoid and battery but the same thing happened the door light was on the radio too and when i turned the key i heard one click and then everything shut off again. im lost....... elecrical is not my specialty could someone please help me out.

 

Hey dude wut up, I have a 2000 F-150 4x2 and mine did that the last time i changed batteries, I turned the key, heard a click, and everything shut off, so i poped the hood, disconected the battery and conected it back up and made sure everything was tight but not too tight and it started right up. try and see if it works if not i dunno then.

 

having same promblem going to look at it on wed if i solve problem i will let u know
