Ok here it is...i have a 98 f150 xl v6 5 speed...and its basically stock...besides plugs and wires...i took it out to the track and my best time (1/8th mile) was a 10.5 and it was consistant...my question is i want to do something to it...i know u can buy a cam for it...and hypertech...and jet chip...but i dont want to jump into a cam just yet...what are yalls opinions on hypertech and jet...what about the plasma booster ingnition....my ? is what works? and what doesnt? and how big of a gain can i expect...please reply i need some help because im about to get paid and want to invest in my truck.
