Flywheel?

Flywheel?

Ne one else have or having a problem with yours? Mine is going out slowly but surely, every once in a while it wont catch right and it with make an terrible noise, i was just wondering if ne one else has had that problem, how much do flywhells cost? i heard they are exspensive,

What do you mean flywheel? Are you getting a grinding noise when you go to start it. It is probably the bendix (don't know how to spell it) going out on your starter. It engages the starter gear with the fly wheel teeth to turn the motor over.

If you're lucky, it'll be your starter. Flywheels are cheap, it's the transmission removal and general installation costs that empty your pocketbook.

iv already replaced the starter, and yes its a grinding noise only happens once a week though, for some reason it seems to do it more in the cold but i dont know
