i do leave it in, but it has a bad connection like you said, and on top of that, i alwasys bump it with my knee

i still think it was dealer installed option ive never seen one of these in 97 or 98 f-150s from the factory.

ya it was.. but i think it ended up being a pretty crappy thing cuz its in a bad location and is really easy to accidently scrwe it up somehow to where u gotta mess with it to make sure it plugs in correctly...
