I was looking through jegs.com and came across this fan:

It is originally intended for the 302 Mustang, but wouldn't it be sufficient cooling power for our trucks as well? The price is pretty good and with just a bit of patience, and the Chilton's manual for our truck, I bet I could get it to work.

 

Okay, there have been 74 "looks" and no replies. Must be that nobody has any experience with this fan unit. No problem! It's sitting in my living room waiting to be installed at this time. The wiring is a peice of cake but it looks like I'll have to modify the mounting system just a bit. When I get it installed, I'll post how it went and maybe a few pictures. Wish me luck.

 

I'm not sure if 2,800 cfm is enough. I think no one answered, because we're not certain one way or the other.
