Programmer for the 4.2?

Question Programmer for the 4.2?

does anyone know when the programmer is coming out for the 4.2? i really don't want to waste money on a chip if it's gonna be out soon. someone please help!!!!!!!

i have a hypertechprogrammer for 4.2 it helped alittle but i have to run premo or it pings and dont hook it up if your engine light is on it scrambled the code and now it wont program my puter any more. not worth the mony IMO

unfortunatley hyper tech DOES NOT make any products for the 4.2L V6

hmmm box says hypertech power programer 3 97 f-series/suv 4.2/4.6/5.4 auto/man

part #41013

i seem to remember it being real hard to find but like i said i wouldnt recommend it for the money.

Someone a while back called the company and they said it was a typo. Programmer don't exist for the 4.2. I don't know of a single person that has one.

Yea there are NO programmers out YET for the 4.2 Mike (superchips distributor) is comming out with one soon hopefully, but the Hypertech one doesnt work with the 4.2

come on guys I got the box right here and when i hooked it up it asked if I had a 4.2L part #41013 it was real hard to find and I lost the web page when i reformatted the drive.

Not saying its not possibly, but over the last year or two I have searched and searched and came up with nothing in the department of progrmers for the 4.2, so I finally broke down and got the chip.

i too heard of the superchips one. shoulda been done in 97 or 98, but i guess its their loss.
