1/4th Times...

Well got the Superchip in and installed and went to the track tonight.

Run 1 with the chip: 17.694 @ 79.35 MPH
Run 2 with out the chip: 18.161 @ 77.87 MPH
Run 3 with the chip: 17.615 @ 79.74 MPH
Run 4 with the chip: 17.514 @ 79.92 MPH
Run 5 with the chip: 13.075 @ 102.04 MPH (There is a slight possibility that this time may be a little off or so the guy at the time hut told me...But I have no idea what he was talking about... )

Actually I was told I had a 17.4 on the last run, I'll have the video emailed to me so I can know at what mph I was at.

It was about 63-65 deg out.

Also, keep in mind that I am in a 4.2 ext cab prety much stock except exhaust and the "airbox mod." I've also deadened the truck too, so thats added a good bit of weight.

One more thing it was my first time running at the track too...So maybe I can get the times down a little more...

Also as far as the chip goes...

The shifts are definately firmer...Still wish they were a little firmer, but all is good Im pleased with that part of it. Top speed limiter has been removed. Throttle response seems better and its more instantaneous (sp). As for MPG Im not too sure becuase its going to suck this tank because of the runs at the tack...

Overall I'd say its worth the money that I paid for it. Im fairly pleased... (no replacement for displacement)

Any other questions feel free to ask...

I owned a 2001 Lightning and a 2002 Harley F150, so now having a V6 is quite a change. I'm looking for a little something more in the get up and go department I've only done the stereo system so far. I see you did Q-forms also - what speakers did you go with?

I did the Focal 136K's in my Q-forms. I also did Kicker RMB6's in the doors. All that runs on a JL 300/4. Alpine 7897 HU. I was going to do 2 JL 10w3v2's, but decided to try proboxrocks new custom ported single 10" and I really like it. I have that running on a JL 500/1.

Do you do any competing? From some pictures it looks like you do db drags. I went to IASCA finals a few weeks ago as a spectator and might go to USAC finals end of November too.

Nope just do it for personal use. Also, Im pretty much 100% sound quality. I do have a lot of power behind things, but its mostly for headroom, and the thrid sub wasn't mine, I bought it for someone and sold it to them.
