Question Troyer Stage 1 4.2 V6 Question

I'm a former 01 Lightning, former 02 HD owner who know has a 03 V6 F150 regular cab flareside. I'd like to wake up this v6 a little without turning this into a 13 MPG truck like I just got rid of. Looking at Troyer's website, the Stage 1 parts looks promising. I'm looking for some real world feedback on gains with this kit. I'm not saying Troyer is exagerating gains, but many vendors have in the past and I'd like to see some 3rd party feedback.. Thanks guys.

Hi,

I almost finished with the stage1 from Mike. Mine came in last week and all I lack is installing the superchip, which I had to send off b/c my truck wouldn't start(think my computer got reflashed by previous truck owner). There is a very noticable gain in power. After I had the intake installed I noticed a little pickup in power and after the pulley was installed I felt a little more, but once the Magnaflow was put on and the flowmaster was off there was a VERY NOTICEABLE amount of power increase especially on low end. I just can't wait to get the chip in now. I think it was a well spent and worth the money, plus the top notch service from the folks at Troyer Performance.

Thanks for the info.. I'm considering this kit plus Factory Tech's Valve Body.
