CAN ANYONE TELL ME, FIRST WHERE IS THE IGNITION COIL ON A '97 4.2L ENGINE, AND SECOND, WHERE AND WHAT DOES THE NEGATIVE SIDE OF THE COIL LOOK LIKE

 

On my 98 4.2, the ignition coil is in the center of the motor on top, with three plug wires going off of each side. The plug has one positive, and three negative terminals to it. Before I'd splice into any of these, I'd check with Ford, maybe there is another plug to use.
