Thought you people may be interested in this. The engine has been swapped into a mustang, but it would be sweet in an f150
It is amazing how many V6 people are using the ford 4.2L engine for swaps into prior 3.8L single/split port cars. This just goes to show what a 4.2L can do with the right kind of heads, cam, intakes, tuning, and power adder, oh ya and $$$$ whoooha!

This is just one of many people I know that are building up 4.2L's and gaining some serious ponies. I think its cool.

another guy is making 333rwhp / 342rwtq almost exactly the same with stock 4.2 motor but with powerdyne at 12psi, exhaust, and mac intake... fuel upgrades and tune.
