fair price for my truck??

Question fair price for my truck??

i'm thinking of selling my truck in the near future. you guys think this is a fair offer??

$15k
2000 4x2 4.2l v6, 5-spd, supercab, oxford white 255/70/16 with the polished aluminum wheels...3.55 gears, prem. sound w/ CD

pretty much stock with a few options...the truck has just under 18.5k miles...

any input?

go to www.edmunds.com and plug in your parameters. you'll get a very fair assessment of your market value.

good, thank you for the site, never new about that one...after looking, i guess i wasn't so out of line by calling the sales guy a "dumbf*ck, lowballing ******" for saying that they could only give me $9k for it...edmunds said $14,242 on trade in, and dealer retail for $17,389...bastards.

Yeah, I'd say you told him right. I got $9.5k for my 2000 F150 4.2l, 5 speed, tow package, 3.55 rears, everything stock with 61k miles on trade in!

Yeah, I went through that myself recently. I had a `01 V6 XLT with 18K miles that I traded in just last month. Blue book value was 16k. The dealer told me they'd give me 13k. I talked him into 13.5 and free window etching on my new V6 Heritage Edition.
