Hello to everyone this is my first time here and I am loving it! I wanted to get some feedback on putting a supercharger on my 4.2L v-6. Would I need to upgrade the tranny? HELP

 

First of all welcome! No you wouldnt need a new trany, but superchargers for the 4.2L are just starting to come out. Vortech is in the process of making a kit and that seems to be what everyone is waiting for. CRASH! has more info on that. Poorboys makes one, the same people who make MAC intakes but it is running like 3300-3800 depending if you want it polished or not. Seems like vortech will be a good one once it comes out.
