Resetting The Computer

I replaced the MAF sensor on my 4.2 but my "check engine light" is still on. I heard that I might have to reset the trucks computer. Any of you know how to do this?

disconnect the battery for 10 minutes. Turn the headlights on while the battery is disconnected.
