2012 fx4

Can anyone tell me if this is a good price to pay for an fx4?

Or anyone have any suggestions on getting a better deal on this truck?

That's more than I'd pay for a 3 year old truck with over 50k on the clock. 2014s can be had for close to that. If you were in NY instead of Texas, I'd understand, but that's just plain expensive.

What would you pay for that truck? I'm just trying to find a fair price to offer on this truck.

That's actually a fair price in your area for that truck - private party book is about 34500.

I wouldn't pay that much for it either when new 2014's are on deep discount.

I don't know. Personally, when I can get a new one for about $38k, I wouldn't pay more than $25k for it, but obviously that doesn't apply here. I work at a dealership, and we sell dozens of these used ones at prices like this like hot cakes, but I don't understand why.

It's not that it's a bad price, cause like glc just listed, it isn't. This is where the market is at because gas is cheap and everyone and their grandma wants an F150. It just comes down to whether or not sacrificing 3 years of age and 50k miles is worth a few thousand dollars to you. I don't think it is. We all have budgets, and I couldn't afford a brand new one, unless it was an STX, but used F150s, even 10 year old ones, just aren't "good buys" right now in my opinion. Brand new is the best bang for your buck.

Also, from memory, Sewell tends to be more expensive than other dealers. However, their customer service is top notch and it's worth paying $1k extra (to me) to have good customer service and a dealer that actually treats you properly. The Houston one(s) are this way, so I'm hoping and assuming the same for this Odessa one. I do not work them either.
