Talking Lightning

Hey, what is the usual price for a Lightning? They are $32,460 at a dealer close to me, and they only have 2 left, a red one and a black one, and I was wondering if this was a good deal or not.

The MSRP is $32,460. I suggest haggling a little bit to get that price down. Ask 29,000 and maybe they will cut you at 30,000. Good Luck.

With a sticker price over $32,000, late in the model year, and a slowing economy........12-15% below sticker price ($27-28,000) is the maximum to be paid. Please research this site, along with Edmunds.com, etc ...before paying $2-3,000 more than the rest of us paid for our trucks.

Good luck.....and, bargain hard.

P.S. - I paid $4,100 under sticker, with a sticker price 0f $30,835.

Cool

Don't know how far you want to travel, or if you must have a 2001. A local dealer has a 2000 L brand new marked down to $25,900! If I weren't building a house right now, I would trade mine in on it. They also have a 2000 Harley supercab at $25,900.

Lightnings are 2001.5 vehicles. So they are still fairly new on the market. Until next Spring they wont be out for the 2002 model year. Unlike the ones that come out in fall prior years.
