Angry Property Taxes

How much do you pay in property taxes each year on your F150?
I was smart and renewed my tag right before buying my F150.
On my Nissan it was $115.00 but on my F150 I'm expecting a bill of $700 or so in July.
Good thing sales tax is only $300.00 no matter if you buy a Geo or a Lexus.

Not sure how much property taxes will be here since I'll be out of this state before I'll owe, but sales tax here was $1700+! On my previous vehicle (89 Accord) I paid ~$70 in taxes this year.

After our recent 33% reduction, my annual registration was $366.

In California, vehicles over 4000 pounds are classified as commercial vehicles and pay more than cars. Plus when I bought the thing I paid 8.6% sales tax.

Cool

Being in the military I retain my status as a New Jersey resident, this has saved me BIG $$$$$ in Virginia, California, and Nevada. I've registered my trucks and cars in each of these states, just had an exemption from having to pay those parts of the fees.

As long as one of the persons name on the title and registration are in the military they waived it. But in Virginia if the wifes name went on it then you got stuck paying.

New Jersey just has a registration fee so if these states had charged me, yep, would've drove around with New Jersey plates for 20 years and it would've been totally legal.
