$945.00 a year through Reliance Direct for full coverage.

Highly recommend Reliance Direct (underwritten through United Pacific).

Avoid Geico and Progressive at all costs.

My 2 cents....

That's pretty high gearjammer.

But a wife will cost over that, easy. https://www.f150online.com/f150board/smile.gif

AND you will have less of an insurance payment 'cuz the wife will want the bike ,

Mark G, I hear what you're saying!! I can't seem to find a kind way to tell the girlfriend that, though. I always seem to get that look of death. The bike is off-limits! I'll get rid of the lady before I get rid of the bike! Out of curiosity, how do you guys get away with insurance so cheap? I'm curious to your ages, I think that's how you're doing it. Like I said, I'm under 25, and I hear that's when it goes down.

Sorry for the edit, but I just checked my latest bill and I was in error. It averages about $200 a month for 9 months. I paid extra ($250) last month and that's what I thought it was a month.... It's still too high if you ask me.

See age of f150 owners in general discussion
I'm 28.
It is a lot cheaper after 25.

$374.00 every 6 mo with allstate but going to drop them due to the fact they want $2,800.00 for insurance on my 96 gsxr750 state farm only wants $215 a year for the gsxr and $400/6mo for my 97 f150 with full coverage, and the coverage is twice as good as allstate. it pays to shop around! (age 28)

Dustoff 09-19-1999 01:08 PM

I pay $260.40 every 6 months with USAA (29yrs old and married)..$250 deductible...however, they send me a 'refund' or dividend check twice a year..about $90.00 for the first one and about $70.00 for the next. It is from the Subscribers Savings Account they maintain for policy holders. I also have a 92 Mazda insured with them.(multi car discount)..so in a nut shell..my rates seem to be very good. I have called around to everyone I could think of..and no one could match my rates with USAA.
One co-worker (22 yrs old, single), who has a 98 Camaro, clean record..no tickets..pays $2,400 per year with a $500 deductible. OUCH!! (not with USAA)
