What kind of deal did you get on your f150?

Well folks, the title says it all. I'll be in the market soon and would like some feedback on what people have been picking up used F150's for lately. I'd like a little firepower to use when bargaining and to know what's good / bad.

Looking to buy: 04+ F150 Scab Lariat 4x4 (under 65k miles)

Thanks

Not sure this helps, but I just traded in a 05 KR w 35k and had to battle the dealer to get 19 out of it. Originally they offered 17. They have it on their used lot now for 23 and change...probably on the high side these days.

Prices also vary by region.

I bought my 2007 F150 Screw on 1-2-08 for just under $17K.This includes the bedliner
It had under 19K miles on it and was used by a car Rental agency. It still had almost 2 years left on the Ford WARRANTY (36 months/36K miles).
The dealer was a Buick/GMC that specialized in selling these late model rental cars. The F150 was the 4th vehicle purchased from the same dealer. all were rental cars. All have turned out to be great buys.
The only things added by me are the 2 front tinted windows (rear 3 have factory tint) and the frame mounted hitch.
The prices have now dropped to $13K for SuperCrews with up to 30K miles. Extended Cabs are down to $12K.
Look at www.reynolds1915.com for current pricing. This city is about 30 miles from Los Angeles, CA.
Good luck.

If you can find a new truck in stock at a dealer equipped the way you want, it makes NO sense to buy a late model used truck with all these discounts and rebates on leftover new ones.

In late '06, I gave $18K for my '04 FX4 w/18K miles...leather, moonroof, pwr rear window, center console with captains chairs, brand new 20" wheels and tires along with stock wheels and tires and levelling kit. They were asking $22,500. I kept walking away until they met what I said I'd pay.

The deals are definitely out there...

Check ebay motors, I have seen 04-06 5.4 4x4 supercrews going for good prices. Saw an xlt in CA going for 9,995 buy it now. It was a loaded xlt. cloth seats, tow pkg, 5.4, supercrew, fog light, spray in bed liner, 75k miles.

I have seen some lariats going for 12k. 5.4L, about 60k miles, supercrew and supercabs.

Last time I looked at f150s the gas prices were the highest they had ever been.

I'd say plan to spend 14k for an 04-06 lariat 5.4, 4x4.

Looking at an 08 f150 fx2 fully loaded with a lift from dealer under warranty for 27000 otd and they will pay off my current car. What do you think? Its everything I want and the best deal Ive been able to find...should I do it? Fabtech 6'' lift with any wheel and tire combo I want. Really can't beat that.

Just 2 months ago i bought a 2006 F150 FX4 SuperCab with 18,000 miles on it. The truck is in perfect shape. There are pics in my sig and gallery. It also has the 6 1/2' Bed. I paid the guy $17,600 out the door.
