I leased a Dakota and a Ranger...and never really felt like they were 'mine' -- so I bought a Wrangler...moded the crap out of that and sold it within a year...bought another Ranger, got rid of that after about 1.5 years to buy my 07 f150.

Buy, lease, they're all the same in the long-run. With a lease, if you wanted to, you get ultra low payments for 3 years, then you can tack another 3 or 4 years on the end if you choose to buy...Instead of financing for 60 months, you kind of spread it out over 72 or so...or after 3 years, you have the option to get rid of it free and clear if you want...also, if it's worth more than the bank says, you're totally free to go trade that in at another dealer for extra if you can.

Yeah....do it.....it's calling your name!

Look at it this way...you'll have another new truck in two years.

Do it.

I have always bought new.

This truck is my first lease and I'M LOVING IT. If I want, in 25 months I can get a new one or walk away or buy it for $17000.

I say go for it.

If you know how many miles you'll put on the truck, negotiate the additional miles into the lease up front.

It'll be cheaper than the contracted rate if you go over, which is anywhere from $0.15 to $0.25 per mile.
