X-Plan question

I'm getting ready to order a 2007 F-150 . Is the X-Plan pricing actually less than invoice? If so does anyone have a extra "friends and family " PIN ? Any other info you can give me on the X-Plan is appreciated. Many thanks guys!

It can be if combined with incentives and/or rebates. I just purchased a 2007 F150 King Ranch with an X-Plan PIN from a local guy. I just went on a local car forum and asked around, some guy who worked at a local dealership had an extra PIN and gave it to me.

With just the PIN, it is like $50 or $100 over invoice. I can't remember for sure. Regardless, it is a pretty good deal. I was lucky and the King Ranch trucks had an additional $3000 rebate. Oh yeah, the processing fee ($300 for my dealership) is waived.

X-plan pricing used to be tied to A plan which you had to go to the dealer to figure out, but now it's a strict formula tied to invoice.

Invoice Price X 0.996 + 75 dollars.

If invoice is 30,000:
30k *.996 = 29880 + 75 = 29955

Also, as mentioned before the dealer can't add on processing cost etc, that's what the $75 is for, so no doc or prep fees or anything else is allowed by ford. They can charge you state fees, like for temp tags, but they can't add on any fees for the dealer, so it takes some of the games dealers play out of the equation.

Also, forgot to mention, owning a single share of ford stock qualifies you for X-plan pricing. The shares are under $10 plus comission to buy one. Tuck the stock away and you should be able to get X plan for life.

Also, this link http://www55.forddirect.fordvehicles...ord&sZip=00000 should still show X plan pricing.
