rebates--now or later?

Planning on ordering direct from factory a loaded King Ranch through the local dealer. They said they can give me $100 above invoice and I think I can get them to go a little lower (maybe).

Question is: Do I order it now with the current rebate of $3000 or do I wait and gamble on a better rebate come April?

I get whatever rebate is being offered at the time the truck is delivered (not ordered) and it takes up to 8 weeks for delivery. Is it worth the gamble? With Ford's current financial situation, I can only imagine the rebates will get better, but I would also like to have the truck asap. Thanks.

I buy about a truck a year for my business and over the last five years the incentives have always improved from when I ordered to when I took delivery. I also do some work in the auto industry and from what I have heard things are not going to improve anytime soon for them. Good Luck On Your Deal.
