Hi Folks,

I'm in the market for a used F150 or 250 for pulling a trailer, as my 150 is rusting a bit too much for my liking.

Can anyone comment on the following truck:

It's a F250 6.8 V10, and I'll be using it to pull a 6 x 12 trailer, which at max will weight 4,000 lbs loaded.

I personally do not have a problem with the mileage, as I bought my current F150, 4.9L 6, with 111,000 miles.

I know that most of you participating have more experience than I, so let me know your thoughts!

I looked at it, and it's seems clean, but I haven't taken it for a spin yet.

Any thoughts would be appreciated!

I forgot to mention that I don't want to spend more than $15k.

I saw a 98 F250 with a 5.4 v8 today with 104,000 miles for $11,200, and it looked fairly clean too.

I tried to open your picture but it would not show the picture ?? But try and find how the truck was used and the type of driving it had been through...Look at the info on problems others here have had with a truck the same year,etc...Make sure it already has ALL the things on it you want in so you don't need spend more money adding them later...Like the right hitch for your trailer...good luck...
