I missed work on Thursday, what a disaster. 1 year ago yesterday I lost my job, walked away from my Mustang in January of 2009 and now this happens. I got nothing but the run around yesterday, the front end is pushed in and around and the rear end is twisted from frame rail to cab mounts. I have an ill feeling about all this, but what can you do.

I am very sore, keep in mind I was about to get out of the truck when I was struck from behind. The driver never hit the brakes from what I am feeling. I have sore elbows, forearms, and lower back. I am hoping to get into a rental before the weekend. I did some research and need your input here. The company who owns the vehicle involved asked me if my truck is a custom, I said no. I am going to tell their insurance company it is a factory truck with custom modifications since I have insurance to cover the conversions, they should offset this. I am preparing for the worse, getting parts together for a tear down party if need be. I lost the RH taillight by the LH is good.

I hope you went to the ER to get checked out. Not to sound like Debbie Downer but sometimes these type of accidents (or any type for that matter) can stay with you for life. Especially if you where getting out of the vehicle, the torso kind of twisting to exit vehicle, then WHAM!!!! You get smacked like that. Hopefully you didn't get twisted too!!!

I am not selling anything from the truck. I am removing some parts but the tranny was actually going south past few weeks so I am kinda seeing this as a way out of $2000.00 rebuild. Sorry.

Guys... this is the TOTM thread... let's not turn it in to a 'HEY! I'll buy XYZ off of your wreck..." please.

Thanks.
