Sorry for questioning a F350 in a F150 truck of the month contest. My Bad!

 

wow this is rediculous... Thank you for the nomination and all the votes but everyone seems to think I don't belong... So if I don't belong then remove me from the poll... I won't think any less of the truck I built nor will I have any hard feelings against any of you whiners... Thanks again for the nomination and votes, but since there is so much whining about my truck I would like to humbly remove myself from the running for TOTM since y'all seem to think it's only an F150 site.

The questioning should stop. It was intentionally set up as TRUCK of the month, not F150 of the month. Sure, the site is named F150, but that had more to do with what website names was available than anything else. We have forums for all Ford trucks. We even had Broncos nominated and I do not remember any negative comment. So, any Ford truck is a candidate for nomination.

 

not sure where you got "F150 TOTM" from... it's the Forums TOTM, which includes multiple different Ford trucks..

you guys are acting like there is a Dodge or Chevy that was nominated this month..

it's all good we are all in the Ford family

BTW- can someone nominate my Wife's Pathfinder for next months TOTM.... hahahahaha..

 

In all honesty.....I haven't heard anybody whine about there being a SD as a nomination. I've only heard a coule people voice their personal opinions. Myself included in that. Nowhere is there a rule that says people can't type what they are thinking so long as it is in good taste.

I do see a rule( #7) that states site rules should be followed and no individual 'call outs' will be allowed to be made. I've seen 2 comments about people being whiners for voicing their thoughts on SD's and lifted trucks. Why is that acceptable?

I'll be the first to tell you all that I voted for the Bronco when it was up for TOTM and that haven't ruled out voting for the SD yet. I merely stated that it didn't seem right to ME not that it wasn't right period that a SD was nominated. I guessi could have selected my words better to clarify that I wasn't against it. I thought I made it pretty clear that I was thinking out loud and that their is room for other trucks besides F150's to be nominated.

 

How about we just drop it all and everyone just keep staring at the pictures in the first post and drool. That should be something we can all agree on.

i thought the TOTM was mainly to give us something cool to do on this forum and a little friendly competition, no matter what type of Ford truck the previous TOTM chooses.

IMO this thread should be geared towards positive comments about the nominated trucks and/or who you voted for... right? i absolutely understand people expressing their thoughts..

TOTM competition will probably be discontinued if this type of behavior continues.. i would hate to see that

People just grow up about it, dont like the truck then dont vote for it.
Dont think it should be in the running then DONT VOTE FOR IT!
I think it has every bit of right being in TRUCK of the month contest, read TRUCK not f150 of the month. Dont like the fact that its an SD and not an F150 it then give one vote to a fellow F150 to make it interesting.
i figured i would give a vote to another deserving truck to make it more suspenseful and exciting but no one can say that supers truck isnt deserving..

SuperLB51 dont take offense to the comments, i think they mainly meant to say it was unfair to have such a bad **** duking it out against the f150s.

Agreed guys. It seems that there has been more vocal talk on a lot of threads lately, but maybe that's just me (I'm not used to it ) Put it this way. The ford truck line... ever take a look at that? Ever look on those other sites that show sales totals ect...? Ya, it says FORD F-SERIES If you guys were the "Odd" one out, which it's not btw, you would be getting defensive. Who cares if the SD wins, it's a damn nice truck, just like the other ones in the running. If you don't like it, don't vote for it and vote for something else. This bickering is so annoying, seriously. Good luck all!

SuperLB51, don't pull your truck out of TOTM just because 1 or 2 people have made comments about it not being a F150, you put alot of work and money into a very nice FORD not to be reconized. If the majority of the people thought it didn't belong here you wouldn't be winning the TOTM !! I would love to have your truck (it would pull my camper alot better). If the rules state that Blackout picks the trucks then that's the way it is until the higher archy changes them !!
