Unhappy Help with Transgo shift kit

Hello everyone, Got a 2000 with a 4R70W. Bought a TransGo shift kit and everything went smoothly. Now I'm getting ready to put it back together and I have two screens and I don't know where they go. One is an oval shaped one which an almost rectangular base, I think I know where this one goes, but I don't know which way, the base facing the tranny or valve body? The other is an inch long and is shaped like a pencil tip (cone shaped) and I have no clue where this one goes. Could someone please shed some light on this. I'm going to put it back together in the morning and I need to know this. Thank you.
Dan

Ok, I went outside this morning and cleaned up under the truck and got to inspect the tranny. I see where the big screen goes, but I still can't figure out where the little one goes. Your help is greatly appreciated.

The one on the left in your picture goes above the valve body towards the rear. It can only fit one way due to the configuration. The other one, I can't tell from the picture. If its the rectangular flat screen, then it goes into the valve body and is noted on the directions,

about one and a half weeks ago, I installed a Baumann Shift kit in my 99' F-150. Just like the last poster stated the larger "basket" type screen (on the left in your pic.) goes with the larger end up against the trans, in the only trapizoid shaped recess that fits the shape of the large portion of the basket screen, with the smaller tip of the screen resting on the new valvebody gasket you just installed. I used a slick piece of cardboard from the new trans. filter box to hold the basket filter in place until I raised the valvebody up close, then I slid the card board out and bolted up the valve body.

BUT, I DO NOT REMEMBER THAT "CONE" SHAPED SCREEN ON THE RIGHT !

Has anybody figured out where it goes There is at least one small rectangle shaped screen that goes down in the valvebody, but I do not remember seeing that "cone" shaped filter.

If anyone has figured out where that goes, please share with all of us.

Talking It's all back together

It's all back together. I talked to Daveman this weekend and he told me where the little cone shaped one went. It went in the back of the transmission about the valve body. It only fits in one hole back there that is angled. Had it all back together Sunday by noon. The verdict: The shift kit worked great. I have a Superchip and I set it on stage 2, and I still would like it to shift harder I did everything that Transgo said and I bought the 3 Sonnax parts. It does have crisp, firm shifts, but it still won't chirp them in 2nd Must have something to do with the 3.55 gears and 275/70/17 tires. Maybe the next mod will be 4.30's Thanks everyone.
