Post 452 speed sensor problem

1994 F150 with 4R70W transmission. Overdrive "OFF" light flashes on gearshift but only sometimes. Pulled codes and got 452 vehicle speed sensor problem. Changed speed sensor on differential but still have problem. As before, it is intermittent. Is there another speed sensor that is giving the problem? Is it a transmission problem?

A friend with the E40D had the blinking light and the dealer also replaced a speed sensor that went to the speedometor.

It was outside the transmission.

The sensor that I changed was the one that went to the speedometer. The speedometer is a little erratic also.
