So I went down and pulled them out. No problem. I just put the truck in 4-Low and idled it back until they were back on the road. Well, now I'm stuck in 4-Low, the dash indicator says only 4X4, and when I move the transfer switch (electronic, BTW), I don't hear the normal clicking of solenoids engaging. I was able to get the truck home, as I was only 1/2 mile away, but the truck did not appreciate it. Has anyone had this problem or know of how I can fix it? I've checked the fuses, praying they were just blown, but no such luck. Please help! I'm a work-at-home dad with 2 kids and this is my only transportation while the wife is at work!!

I am hoping by the date you figured out how to get your truck out of 4x4. You can shift on the fly into 4x4 but not out. You must put the truck into neutral, then make your selection into 2wd, then shift back into gear. It's a safety so you dont mess up the xfer case at higher speeds. I had an embarassing trip to the dealer to find this out.

Hope this helps someone.
