Thumbs up

Thats right, just use silicone. I used a product called "The Right Stuff", it's in a can that looks like Cheez Whiz. Kind of expensive but it works great. Puts out a perfect bead and seals every time.

Good luck, Scott

dgreene,

Both methods are acceptable. using a gasket saves time. Wou don't have to wait for the sealant to set up/cure.

good info. btw, got the gasket from advance auto(chain store in the s/e). also bot an 02 sensor and as was checking out; i asked where there haynes manuals were? the clerk replied "you can get a free manual because you've spent more than $50.00." don't know how long this will last, but take advantage if advance is in your area. dan/renegade
