Question trans removal problem

I have a 1997 f150 4x4 extended cab with the 4.6 and the 5 speed. I had to pull the transfer case because I broke it but was so far into it I decided to pull the trans to put a new clutch in. I have what I believe to be all the bolts out(7 bolts for the trans to engine, 3 for the starter, and the 2 on the bottom for the plate between the trans and the engine) It is completely solid and I cannot get the two apart. I have tried to pry between the engine and trans but it is so tight it is hard to do so. There is very little give in there. Has anyone done this or have any sugestions for what to do in order to remove it.

Thanks
Mike

Cool

never mind, the bellhousing was rusted to the block. Just took a little more muscle than normal.
