Well my beast is back under the wrench at the dealership. It was tought to move through some gears at times. Felt it might be the synchros and also felt what I call lash. Starting off in first it would feel like a bit of slop/play until it finally caught. Wasn't sure if it was the tranny or rear end. So off to the dealer with only about 1500 miles left on my extended warranty.
What kills me is the truck was in and had pretty much a complete tranny rebuild back in May. The dealership will only warranty their work for 12 months or 12,000 miles. Im over the 12,000 miles. My truck is the five speed V-6. I don't beat on it and take good of it. This problem again adding to the 97 V-6 gasket issues (done twice on mine) is infuriating me. Wish I had discovered this board before I bought the thing. Makes me want to buy the competition.
Venting done, pressure now down.
