Post How to improve shifting?

I'm looking to improve the shifting on my 5.4 so the shifting characteristics will be similar to the installation of a Superchip. I want to continue using low octane fuel. I know that Superchip offers a flip-chip that enhances the vehicle shifting and still allows it to run low octane fuel but the flip-chip cost more than I wanted to spend. Is there a cost effective and SAFE method to improve the shifting on our F150's? Thanks!

Screamer, Does this work through the computer or line pressure? Any idea on how much it cost? Thanks!

I posted the B&M shift enhancer question on this site and was told that the kit worked wonderfully. I, like you was wanting to improve sift characteristics withou the necessity of higher octane fuel via the superchip. I am considering the shift enhancer, as because it changes the computer setting and has three diferent modes, stock, street strip, & towing. Any other advice on better alternatives to this would also be appreciated. Thanks! 01X
