Question need info on two trannys

i have a 1987 F-150 2wd 300 inline 6 with a 3spd manual overdrive

I am trying to find out what kind of trans i have and which one i just picked to replace it. i gotta good deal and took a chance on it.

The numbers on my trans are
Drivers side
RF-E5TR-7006-AA
C-2605524
Passenger side
RTSBVKG30
E6TRMA3462
The trans has reverse to the right and down

i picked up a trans and the numbers are
Drivers side cast into case of trans.
RF-D9BR-7006-AB
C-2604194
With an ACE Co. logo.
Passenger Side on a Tag the numbers are as follows.
FUG-DLKA-1
E1-TRCA0455
This trans has reverse to the left and up
I was wondering what kind of trans it is. Its a 3spd manual with OD. The case measures around 10.5" and has an aluminum cover on top. It came out of mid 80's truck with a 302 engine.

I would really appreciate if you guys could help. thanks

Hey, I don't know what tranny is you are trying to install but it sounds like you are good to go. The 300 six, 302 and 351W all mount up the same. You could all rebuild your old one. It really is not hard, it is an AOD, they are tuff and last a long time.

Try baumannengineering.com, they are the experts for Ford AutoTransmissions.

I also have a factory service manual for the 1990 F150/Bronco and for 1980. When I get home I will look up your tranny, the book covers both manual and auto. I will post the info for you.

I looked in my 1990 Ford factory manual. It shows two transmissions that are manual.

S5-42Zf EfTA-7003.HA which is a German made.

M50D MAZda 5 speed overdrive.
